About Me

I’m originally from France and moved to the U.S. at 25 with little to no English. Working as an Au Pair gave me a full, immersive experience of American culture and language while caring for and learning from young children.

These experiences inspired my work with MonPetitWorld and StoryGlow, where I aim to inspire children and families to explore bilingual stories, spark imagination, and celebrate the magic of little moments.

My Story

I’ve always been a free spirit, passionate about exploring new cultures and connecting with people from around the world. From a young age, I was drawn to languages and cultural exchange — first working as an au pair in Spain, then spending two years in London to learn English. These experiences shaped my love for storytelling and my appreciation for the richness of bilingual and multicultural life.

Moving to the U.S. at 25 was a dream, but also a huge challenge. I arrived during COVID and faced the ups and downs of adjusting to new host families — I had three different families before finally arriving in Los Angeles. I missed my family and the comforts of home, especially French food, and overcame many personal challenges along the way. But giving up was never an option — my passion for culture, language, and children kept me going.

Working as an au pair has been one of the most transformative experiences of my life. Caring for children taught me patience, presence, and the joy of nurturing young minds. I especially loved sharing French language and culture with the children I cared for, creating meaningful moments that connect them to a world beyond their everyday environment.

My bilingual book was born from these experiences. Many families I worked for wanted their children to learn French, but because the parents didn’t speak the language, exposure stopped after my day ended. My book allows children to continue engaging with French even when I’m not there — and helps parents be part of the learning experience too. Written in both French and English, it’s a bridge that connects children to language, culture, and family in a playful, meaningful way.
